I'm a tenure-track lecturer at URV (Tarragona, Spain) in the Department of Computer Engineering and Maths. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in 2009 with European Mention at UPF (Barcelona, Spain). During my Ph.D., I also worked at EPFL under the supervision of Prof. Karl Aberer. I received the Best Paper Award from IEEE LCN'07. I have participated in several research projects such as IST-POPEYE, PLANET and P2PGRID.

research

My research focus is on the area of wide-area distributed object technology. I am interested in how to develop new architectures and protocols for P2P networks, with particular emphasis on the secure and efficient distribution of data, network modeling and reputation systems.

I'm a member of Architecture and Telematic Services Research Group (AST Research Group) at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV).
